Making
Money
Credits, the order book, what each band pays an hour — and the one currency that is not credits.
There is one currency in the game and it is credits. Everything is priced in them, everything is bought with them, and nothing else can be traded for them.
What a band pays
Measured as a competent pilot in a band-appropriate ship, including what they lose:
| Band | Bounty per kill | Materials/h | Net per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Portus | 550 | 1 200 | ~1 000 |
| Litus | 14 000 | 110 000 | 552 000 |
| Vadum | 27 000 | 205 000 | 948 000 |
| Altum | 52 000 | 420 000 | 1 670 000 |
| Abyssus | 165 000 | 1 400 000 | 4 130 000 |
The harbour paying nothing is the design and not an oversight. Safe space is boring on purpose: a harbour can pay for ammunition and it cannot pay for a career.
The market
Berths hold a real order book with a player side: you can place orders as well as take them, prices differ by region, and the Broker skill is what narrows the spread you pay. There is no arbitrage loop — you cannot make money by moving goods in a circle at any rate.
Solidi
Solidi are the premium currency. They are bought with money and they buy exactly two things: a month of premium (500 Solidi) and SP injectors (500 Solidi each, four a week at most). Nothing else in the game is for sale and nothing bought with Solidi can be turned into credits.
That is the whole pay-to-win surface, and it is one table on purpose. If it ever grows, it grows visibly.
